The Operating Council will be the main operating body of the Global Cooling Prize and will be responsible for the detailed design, planning, organization, and implementation of the Prize.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Operating Council will be responsible for the overall design, planning, organization, and implementation of the Prize and is expected to work with a larger coalition of partners and stakeholders to fulfill the administrative objectives of the Prize, including the establishment of the Technical Review Committee and Investment Committee.

Membership

The Operating Council is made up of the following organizations—Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI), Conservation X Labs (CXL), Alliance for an Energy Efficient Economy (AEEE), and CEPT University. In the future, the Operating Council could include other member organizations, subject to the recommendation and approval of the Supervisory Board.
